As a Dallas native now living and working in New York City I developed a passion for the arts quickly growing up — from theater to fashion. Particularly gravitating towards haute couture — it captured not only fashion but art as well, some pieces are art and that was fascinating to me. I graduated from design school and started my career in the apparel industry quickly.

In 2010 with a design and some business experience under my belt, I decided that is was time to take a leap of faith and officially start S.I.C. Couture. I had already been designing custom dresses for family, friends, and myself so I felt that my first collection should be all about the ultimate cocktail dress. In late 2011 I introduced my inaugural collection and continued with only designing dresses until spring 2013 when I introduced separates.

By early 2013 I completed my 5th collection — fall 2013. It was with this collection I felt that I sort of found who and what S.I.C. Couture WAS and IS meant to be: adventurous, free spirit, and fearless. Each collection grows more each season with so much character and honesty to what the brand really is about.

Update: Now living in Dallas with my husband and our baby girl, Reese. I have now opened a boutique in Dallas called, respectively S.I.C. Couture. Here we house the designing and the brand but also curate pieces from other labels to add to your collection.

I believe that we are influenced or inspired rather by people daily, whether it's the way they dress or the way they carry themselves, hence where "contagious" becomes involved. I am inspired by my family, my friends, and amazing mentors that I interact with daily and they've each taught me something valuable in my life. I can't wait to continue to grow not only as a person but to grow S.I.C. Couture even further. So far, it's been a heck of a ride. And I feel like I've just truly begun this wonderful journey and can't wait to see what the future holds. So thank you for supporting the brand and myself. I truly appreciate it and thankful every single day.
